About us

We are an educational platform dedicated to fostering innovative STEM education using infrared cameras.

Our platform aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers to explore the world around them, fostering their curiosity and driving progress in society.

What We Do

Empowering Educators

As part of our commitment to lifelong learning, we provide accredited training for educators on effectively integrating IR cameras into their teaching practices.

Making Science and Technology More Accessible

Through experiments with IR cameras, we show real-world problems and find simplified solutions. We develop these experiments in collaboration with industry partners, building a bridge between education, innovation, and the workforce.

Fostering Digital Skills in the Next Generation

In the #Through The Eyes Of An Infrared Camera competition, student teams create innovative group projects that use IRcameras and educational software. Attractive presentations and sharing their work on social media are key components of the competition.

Breaking Gender Stereotypes in STEM Fields

The Girls’ Labs project aims to inspire high school girls by showing them that science and technology careers are open to everyone through engaging motivational programs.

Raising Environmental Awareness Among Young People in an Engaging Way

We use IR camera experiments to show how solar energy is distributed across landscapes and how vegetation can help prevent overheating in urban areas.

Our Story

How It All Began

During outreach events for schools, we discovered that IR cameras are an excellent tool for explaining thermal processes across various subjects. Our challenge was to design a prototype that is affordable and easy for school-aged children to use.

2019

Drawing on our expertise in thermal measurement, we started developing both the software and hardware for the infrared camera.

2020

We tested the first prototype of the IR camera at a workshop in collaboration with the organisation Elixir for Schools. We also launched a program to lend IR cameras to schools in the Plzeň region, supported by a SPIE grant for the 2020/21 year.

2021

We collaborated with educators to create complementary tools and materials for the IR camera. Thanks to a SPIE grant for 2021/22, we organized workshops in additional regions and opened our first two distribution centers in Olomouc and Brno. We established partnerships with industrial companies (Valeo, Bosch) and public institutions.

2022

We expanded our network of distribution centers across the Czech Republic and showcased our project internationally. In collaboration with teachers, we focused our educational program on specialized fields.

2023

We developed the first version of e-learning for educators, organized our educational materials, and further enhanced collaboration with both public and private sectors. We launched the new Girls’ Labs project.
