Basic Experiment Set

LabIR Edu – This introductory course familiarizes educators from primary and secondary schools with the educational infrared camera and its applications in STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The course aims to professionally prepare participants for creating and conducting lessons using the infrared camera and complementary tools. It contributes to modernizing education through innovative teaching aids and motivates the younger generation to pursue studies and careers in scientific and technical fields. Participants will learn to work with modern technologies, expand their knowledge, and receive supplementary materials they can use in their teaching. There is currently a very limited amount of didactic materials and tools for infrared measurement available to educators. The infrared camera is an excellent tool for visualizing otherwise abstract thermal phenomena, with applications across various school subjects.
The 3-hour course is accredited by the Council for Lifelong Learning at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for the lifelong learning program.
The training is led by experts from the NTC research center at the University of West Bohemia specializing in infrared measurement. The program is overseen by Professor Milan Honner.
