Infrared Cameras for Schools
An educational platform founded by the NTC research center of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. It encourages young people to explore science and technology through hands-on experiments focused on heat and infrared radiation.
Explore the world through the lens of an infrared camera!
Infrared camera borrowing service
We lend educational infrared cameras to schools free of charge through a network of distribution centers.
Workshops for educators

Inspiration for teaching with infared cameras
We are developing didactic activities using IR cameras for various school subjects. On our website, you’ll find manuals, instructional videos, worksheets, and many experiments to enhance your teaching experience with infrared cameras.
Activities for children and youth
We organise competitions and project days for schools and collaborate on integrating infrared cameras into educational programs.

Get Involved in the Competition!
We are announcing the 5th annual student competition #Through The Eyes Of an Infrared Camera for the best experiment using an IR camera! Register your team for a chance to use the IR camera in your lessons for two weeks. Share your discovery with others and win exciting prizes!
Allow students to explore the invisible dimensions of our world!
The NTC research team has developed a unique educational infrared camera that allows students to visualize and better understand abstract and invisible physical phenomena. Teaching STEM subjects thus becomes much more accessible and intuitive. Experiments with the IR camera demonstrate important scientific concepts to students, such as heating, cooling, and the effects of temperature.
