Infrared Cameras for Schools

An educational platform founded by the NTC research center of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. It encourages young people to explore science and technology through hands-on experiments focused on heat and infrared radiation.

Explore the world through the lens of an infrared camera!

Get Involved in the Competition!

We are announcing the 5th annual student competition #Through The Eyes Of an Infrared Camera for the best experiment using an IR camera! Register your team for a chance to use the IR camera in your lessons for two weeks. Share your discovery with others and win exciting prizes!

Allow students to explore the invisible dimensions of our world!

The NTC research team has developed a unique educational infrared camera that allows students to visualize and better understand abstract and invisible physical phenomena. Teaching STEM subjects thus becomes much more accessible and intuitive. Experiments with the IR camera demonstrate important scientific concepts to students, such as heating, cooling, and the effects of temperature.
