The LabIR Edu infrared camera can stream live to the Internet. You can also share recordings of pre-recorded experiments and complement them with advanced analyses.

Live image from the camera
Connect the camera to the computer with a cable.
You can open the live image from the camera, for example, in the RTSP Player - a free application accessing IP cameras through the RTSP protocol. (instructions below).
You can share your screen and broadcast the experiment and your comments live to the students.
Recording of the experiment
Use the camera to record the experiment in LRC (LabIR ReCording) format.
Open the sequence in our evaluation software LabIR Edu.
You can share your screen with the students, including temperature analyzes and your comment.

Instructions for connecting to the infrared camera

The LabIR Edu infrared camera is compatible with common camera tripods.
Connect the camera to the computer with a network cable
You need a standard Ethernet cable.
Open the image from the IR camera on your computer
After connecting the cable to the camera, enable the network connection Settings > Network > Enable network connection
A few seconds after the connection is enabled, you will see the IP address of the IR camera. Below it, you need to turn on streaming. Settings > Network > IPv4 (example: 192.148.0.2)
On the computer, you can access the camera with a program reading RTSP streams:
Enter the IP address of the infrared camere into the address bar in the format rtsp://xxx.xxx.xx.x:5540/live.sdp example: rtsp://192.148.0.2:5540/live.sdp

Share the picture with your students!
You can share your screen with an opened VLC with students while doing experiments.
